Select you distribution:
Ubuntu
Should be found in the universe repository.
openSUSE
can be found in the PackMan repository
It can also be found at: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=&project=Mono%3ACommunity
Fedora
can be found somewhere in the Fedora repositories.
New versions can be a bit delayed.
ArchLinux
can be found in AUR. See here for information on how to install applications from AUR.
Optionally you can use the unoffical third-party tool yaourt to install from AUR.

Gentoo
As is still keyworded for testing, you will need to add an entry to your package.keywords file to be able to emerge it.
# echo 'net-ftp/ ~arch' >> /etc/portage/package.keywords

Install by running: sudo conary update
Or through packagekit, search for and push install.
FreeBSD
A FreeBSD port is available. See http://www.freshports.org/ftp// for information on how to download and install.
Dependencies
The current stable version is based on C# and Mono, so you'll need:- Mono >= 2.0
- Gtk# >= 2.12 (gtk-sharp2)
- Gnome# >= 2.20 (gnome-sharp)
- gnome-keyring-sharp (optional)
The new (unstable) braFTP is python based and different dependencies. It depends on gtk+3 and pygobject. More info on this will come later.
